After working with NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on his throws for a few minutes, Kansas football coach David Beaty decided to raise the stakes.
Three passes each. The one who had the most throws land in a net about 20 yards away would be the winner. The other person would have some punishment.
"I was a little worried I was going to have to do some pushups in that one-on-one competition," Stenhouse said. "I hit the rails (on the net) a lot when I was doing the drill the first time."
He delivered, though, when it mattered most.
