LAWRENCE — Kansas was in control of the game exactly once.
That is to say, in its 92-43 loss against No. 2 Baylor, the KU women’s basketball team held the ball for exactly one possession with the score tied, as the team came up with the jump ball despite being at a seven-inch height disadvantage in the center circle.
From there, it was all Baylor. The Jayhawks (6-11, 0-6) struggled with the size and length of the visitors, shooting just 20.9 percent from the field and posting more turnovers than assists. The Bears (17-1, 6-0) opened the game on a 10-0 run and never looked back, handing KU its worst defeat in the Brandon Schneider-era.
