KU women fall to Texas Tech

LUBBOCK, Texas — Jessica Williams scored 22 points, but the Kansas women’s basketball team fell 75-60 on Saturday at Texas Tech.

The Jayhawks led 22-13 at the end of the first quarter and had a 33-28 advantage at halftime, but it wouldn’t last. The Red Raiders outscored the Jayhawks 47-27 in the final two quarters to get the win.

Jayde Christopher had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Jayhawks (8-18, 2-13 Big 12). Ivonne Cook-Taylor had 21 points and seven rebounds for Texas Tech (12-14, 4-11).
