AMES, Iowa — The Kansas women’s basketball team stayed with Iowa State for a half, but the Cyclones dominated the second half and won 65-49 at Hilton Coliseum.
KU (5-10, 0-4 Big 12) made just 8 of 28 field goals in the second half and finished the game 18 of 52 overall. The Jayhawks also committed 17 turnovers.
The Jayhawks trailed 28-25 at the break, and the Cyclones extended their led to 10 at the end of the third quarter to take control.
Lauren Aldridge was the only Jayhawk to score double figures as she had 12 points and hit two 3-pointers.
