LAWRENCE — Kansas women’s coach Brandon Schneider made an “L” with his fingers to signal the play, though it seemed he was the only one who knew it.
He yelled at center Caelynn Manning-Allen to get to the other side of the court, then a few seconds later, screamed at guard Aisia Robertson to get out of Lauren Aldridge’s way.
Once a third player went the wrong direction, Schneider threw his hands up incredulously.
The empty second-quarter possession was just a glimpse of KU’s struggles offensively, as it couldn’t keep up in a 66-53 loss to Washington State on Sunday night at Allen Fieldhouse.
