University of Kansas recruiting target Zion Williamson, the No. 2-ranked prospect in the class of 2018 according to Rivals.com, made an official visit to Clemson last weekend and has set visits to Duke (Oct. 20-22) and UCLA (Oct. 27-29), he wrote in a blog at USAToday.com.
Williamson, a 6-foot-6 senior forward from Spartanburg (S.C.) High School, was joined on the trip to Clemson by Devon Dotson, a 6-1 senior point guard from Providence Day High in Charlotte, N.C., who made an official visit to KU on Aug. 25-27.
Williamson’s stepfather, Lee Anderson, played at Clemson.
“Common thought has him leaving his home state for a program like Kansas or Kentucky, but make no mistake Clemson is pulling out all of the stops (for Williamson),” Eric Bossi of Rivals.
