NORMAN, Okla. — In the seconds after a postgame interview with ESPN, Devonte’ Graham jogged toward the exit tunnel when he heard the Kansas fan scream from the rafters at Lloyd Noble Center.
“Good job, Devonte’!”
The sophomore smiled and pointed up high. The celebration was just about to begin.
A few moments later, following No. 6 Kansas’ 76-72 victory over third-ranked Oklahoma, Graham was met by his teammates just inside the locker room. They all had circled up, waiting for the game’s most valuable player to arrive.
When he did, they erupted. Graham made his way to the middle of the pile, his teammates jumping up and down around him.
