In his first three days of practices, Lagerald Vick is already getting caught up on what it’s like to be a Kansas Jayhawk.
“It’s a big difference from high school. In high school, we didn’t have that many plays,” the freshman guard said at Washburn coach Bob Chipman’s basketball camp Wednesday. “But now, we’re running five to 10 plays a day. So it’s a big difference, a big change.”
Vick, who committed to KU less than a month ago from Douglass High School in Memphis, is getting a crash course on the team’s offense during unlimited practices allowed before next month’s World University Games.
