LAWRENCE — Even with a three-win Texas team coming up Saturday, Kansas football is preparing for another difficult matchup against a stronger, faster, and bigger Big 12 opponent. KU has been undersized and undermanned all season.
While Texas (3-5, 2-3 Big 12) is struggling in its own right, it is allowing nearly 10 fewer points per game than KU is and allowing 146.2 less yards per game.
The Big 12 has four teams in the top 25, including two teams in the top five in Baylor and TCU. Since Big 12 play began, KU has lost each of its games by an average of 39.
