LAWRENCE — The Kansas football team filled its final coaching vacancy Wednesday, hiring Louisiana high school coach Tony Hull on as running backs coach.
Hull, who had coached at Warren Easton High School in New Orleans since 2007, replaced longtime assistant Reggie Mitchell, who left in early February for the same position at Arkansas.
"We are fired up to add Tony Hull to our staff," KU football coach David Beaty said in a news release. "Not only is Tony well-respected as a coach throughout the state of Louisiana, but collegiate coaches around the nation also have a huge amount of appreciation for the work he has done.
