Kansas basketball coach Bill Self says he envisions sophomore Carlton Bragg building on Saturday’s solid performance against Davidson at the Sprint Center.
“I think Carlton is a much, much, much better player than what he’s shown so far this year. I think that he is probably getting ready to take off in a positive way,” Self said Monday on his weekly Hawk Talk radio show.
Bragg, a 6-foot-10, 240-pound forward from Cleveland, scored seven points and grabbed eight rebounds while playing 18 minutes in the Jayhawks’ 89-71 victory over the Wildcats. He’d missed KU’s previous game while serving what turned out to be a one-game suspension.
