MORGNTOWN, W.Va. — WVU Coliseum has been a house of horrors for Kansas since the Mountaineers joined the Big 12.
Tuesday night, it claimed another victim: The No. 2-ranked Jayhawks’ 18-game winning streak.
KU was out-rebounded, had a dismal evening from the free-throw line and missed a number of layups while surrendering several themselves in an 85-69 defeat to No. 18 West Virginia. The loss marked KU’s fourth straight in this facility over the past four seasons.
After trailing by as many as 10 in the second half, the Jayhawks roared back to briefly take a lead.
