LAWRENCE — Devonte’ Graham has never faced a 7-foot-6 player before.
That’ll change Tuesday when Kansas takes on UC Irvine and center Mamadou Ndiaye.
“I just want to stand next to him to really see how tall he is,” the 6-foot-2 Graham said with a laugh. “It’ll be a good experience.”
Ndiaye, who leads his team in scoring and rebounding, is far from the only tall player on the Anteaters’ roster. Reserve Ioannis Dimakopoulos is 7-2, while forwards Mike Best and Jonathan Galloway are 6-10.
“They’re ridiculously huge,” KU coach Bill Self said. “Allen Fieldhouse may not have ever seen as big a team as what they will tomorrow night.
