Trae Young, a 6-1 senior combo guard from Norman (Okla.) North High, told The Oklahoman he soon will announce dates for visits to five of the six schools on his list. Players are accorded just five visits in accordance with NCAA rules.
Young, who is ranked No. 14 in the Class of 2017 by Rivals.com, has a list of KU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Texas Tech and Washington. The Huskies recently received a commitment from Young’s buddy, Michael Porter Jr., whose dad has been hired as a full-time assistant on Lorenzo Romar’s Washington staff.
“My family and I will sit down soon and come up with when we’ll start taking official visits.
