LAWRENCE — After passing its test against Iowa State, No. 2 Kansas will now have to survive the opposite.
As the Jayhawks return to action against Texas at 1 p.m. Saturday in Allen Fieldhouse, there will be one key difference in the matchup — one that may even supersede the difference in going from a hostile Hilton Coliseum to the friendly confines of the Phog.
It’s a “big” difference, to say the least, according to KU coach Bill Self.
“They’re probably the biggest team that we’ve played,” Self said of Texas, “at least that I can remember in quite some time.
