LAHAINA, Hawaii — Kansas’ starting guards feel like they have something to prove.
“We had a talk amongst each other about us just playing better, because I feel like we all played not as good as we hoped to,” KU sophomore Devonte’ Graham said. “We’ve just got to learn from it.”
KU’s three backcourt players — Graham, Frank Mason and Wayne Selden — certainly will be out to shoot better as they take on Div. II Chaminade in the opener of the Maui Invitational at 8 p.m. CDT Monday.
The three combined to make 9 of 36 shots (25 percent) against Michigan State in last week’s 79-73 loss.
