LAWRENCE — Carlton Bragg’s time at Kansas is over.
The sophomore intends to transfer out of the program, KU announced in a Thursday morning news release. The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 5.4 points and 4.1 rebounds last season and saw his playing time steadily decrease until the season-ending loss to Oregon in the Elite Eight, the only game this season where he was active but didn’t play.
Bragg said he enjoyed his time at KU but was seeking a change of scenery.
“This past year didn’t go as well as I thought it would and it’s in my best interest to get a fresh start,” Bragg said in the release.
