KU basketball beats Lithuania in World University Games

Frank Mason scored 18 points on 7-for-9 shooting, leading the Kansas men's basketball team to a 70-48 victory over Lithuania in the quarterfinals of the World University Games on Friday night in Gwangju, South Korea.

Mason provided more than scoring. He added 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals to go with 2 turnovers in 34 minutes.

Wayne Selden scored 13 points on 5-for-10 shooting, but that also came with a team-high 6 turnovers.

Landen Lucas gave KU a boost off the bench after struggling through the early portion of the tournament, scoring 7 points with 9 rebounds in 20 minutes.
