LAWRENCE — It didn’t take long for Kansas coach Bill Self to fill his final roster spot for the upcoming World University Games, which take place July 3-14 in Gwangju, South Korea.
On Saturday the Jayhawks added Florida Gulf Coast guard Julian DeBose to the roster, taking the place of Devonte’ Graham, [filtered word] partially tore a tendon in his quad during Wednesday’s scrimmage.
The 6-foot-4, 197-pound DeBose arrived on campus Saturday afternoon and will begin practicing with the team Sunday.
The last two seasons, DeBose has played under former Self assistant and current Eagles coach Joe Dooley.
