Kevin Haskin: Priorities remain appropriate for KU football makeover

LAWRENCE — Ask anyone who frequents Memorial Stadium and there’s a chance you will hear a different opinion on what to do with the home for Kansas football.

Thing is, few frequent the place anymore.

Which is why it is best to capably identify priorities as David Beaty heads into his third season.

“One thing coach Beaty has convinced me of, is we need to put at the tip of the spear the highest priorities, things that impact the players themselves, like we did with the locker room,’’ KU athletic director Sheahon Zenger said.

“Now, his top priority is an indoor facility, so that is my top priority.
