An expert can speak to the character of Mike Glatczak, the Kansas tackler who collided with the Jayhawks’ quarterback, Michael Cummings, in Saturday’s Blue-White game.
“I can tell you that since his freshman year in high school, he hasn’t missed a weight (session), and hasn’t missed a meeting, hasn’t created a problem,’’ said his Centralia High School coach. “He’s a great kid.’’
That individual keeps good tabs on the KU safety.
He is Larry Glatczak, who also happens to be Mike’s father.
Naturally, Larry was in attendance Saturday at Memorial Stadium and saw the play unfold.
