DES MOINES, Iowa — On Sunday, the All-State basketball team will again be revealed.
New standouts will join old heroes on all-class teams, while the color picture of the top five will prompt some to think, for an instant, of their favorite in-state greats.
One former mainstay on that team was Perry Ellis, who led Wichita Heights to four consecutive state championships. He will complete another chapter in his playing career during the NCAA Tournament run Kansas begins at 3 p.m. Thursday against Austin Peay at Wells Fargo Arena.
So what will be the legacy Ellis leaves at KU?
