Fort Worth, Texas — The Kansas women’s basketball team held a lead going into the fourth quarter on Monday at TCU. But the Horned Frogs rallied and escaped with a 55-52 victory.
The loss dropped the Jayhawks’ record to 5-24 overall and they finished with an 0-18 record in the Big 12. The Jayhawks had an chance to tie at the end, but Timeka O’Neal’s 3-poiner missed.
Lauren Aldridge and Kylee Kopatich led the Jayhawks with 10 points each. The Jayhawks shot just 20 of 61 from the floor (32.8 percent).
Zahna Medley led TCU (16-13, 8-10) with 21 points.
