It’s a long season, but the Kansas Jayhawks football team took a step in the right direction today. There were some mistakes and early season questionable play-calling, but the season is off to as good of a start as it could be.
The question mark of who the Jayhawk’s quarterback was finally revealed today to be senior Carter Stanley. He did not disappoint. Stanley threw for 241 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. It’s been a long time since Kansas has had a truly competent QB, but they may have found their guy.
As expected Khalil Herbert carried the runningback workload today in the absence of Pooka Williams, who will be back from his suspension for next week’s game vs.
