SAN DIEGO — The Kansas volleyball team is heading to the program's first Final Four.
The ninth-seeded Jayhawks scored the final six points in the decisive fifth set, rallying for a 25-18, 25-21, 22-25, 19-25, 15-13 victory over No. 1 USC on Saturday night at Jenny Craig Pavilion.
With the victory, KU (30-2) advances to Thursday's national semifinals where it will face No. 4 Nebraska at 8:30 p.m. in Omaha, Neb. The match will be televised on ESPN 2.
No. 2 Minnesota faces No. 3 Texas in the other semifinal at 6 p.m.
USC ended its season with a 33-3 record.
