The Kansas Jayhawks used their biggest run of the season in the second half to absolutely bury the visiting Wofford Terriers by a 72-47 final score.
The Game
Wofford opened the scoring with a three-pointer (what else?) by Matthew Pegram, but Kansas would quickly answer. By the 10-minute mark, the Jayhawks held a 19-12 lead after a Devon Dotson layup. However, KU would only lead by three, 29-26, at the break.
Wofford took a 32-29 lead less than two minutes into the second half, but Kansas quickly reclaimed the lead. A Cameron Jackson free throw at the 11:16 mark cut the KU lead to 43-41, and that’s when KU went on its 27-0 run that absolutely put the game out of reach.
