The Kansas Jayhawks have appeared in 45 total NCAA Tournaments, including 27 in a row (about to be 28). In fact, the last time KU did not go dancing, "Lost in Your Eyes" by Debbie Gibson was the #1 song and "Lean on Me" was the #1 movie in theaters.

Those dark, dark days were in March of 1989.

Anyway, Kansas has seen 14 Finals Fours and won three championships while compiling an overall 100-44 record. In his career, Bill Self is 39-16 in the Tournament, 29-11 while at Kansas.
