Junior Linebacker Dru Prox led the Jayhawks in tackles after Kansas fell to West Virginia at home back on September 21, but since then Prox hasn’t played a game due to a shoulder injury. Replacing Prox at linebacker is true freshman Gavin Potter, who got his first start for Kansas football against TCU on the road.
Potter led the Jayhawks in tackles that game, but his performance against Texas last Saturday was even more impressive. He led the team with nine total tackles, and also picked up 1.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss which were both team highs as well.
