From the opening kickoff, the Wildcats dominated Kansas football on their way to their eleventh win in a row over the Jayhawks. This is the kind of game where the stats pretty much tell the story.
Kansas State nearly doubled the total offensive yards of Kansas, and the Wildcats also converted on 65% of their first downs. Kansas also lost the turnover battle to the Wildcats by way of two Carter Stanley interceptions.
Stanley’s struggles against the Wildcats were certainly unexpected, considering he was coming into the game with a lot of momentum. Offensive coordinator Brent Dearmon had the Kansas offense looking unstoppable against Texas and Texas Tech, yet they only managed ten points on Saturday.
