Mason Brotherton, six-foot-four tight end weighing 240 pounds committed to Kansas football Tuesday night. Brotherton is a tight end from Mena, Arkansas that can move out to the slot, line up on the line of scrimmage, and potentially in the backfield as a lead blocker.
Brotherton has received offers from Memphis, Coastal Carolina, Mercer, Louisiana, and Kansas. The talented tight end also gained interest from West Virginia, Arkansas State, and Arkansas.
Although Brotherton committed to the Jayhawks, if Arkansas would have offered, it seems like Kansas would not be landing the talented tight end after all.
