Despite a 3-9 season last year, Kansas football showed some signs of life that haven’t been seen in years. The win at Boston College was huge, and the game-winning field goal at home against Texas Tech was a lot of fun too. Then, there was near-win on the road against Texas, which easily would have made the season one of the best in a decade had the Jayhawks prevailed.
Despite having a relatively tough schedule next year, there’s still a lot to be excited about. Offensive coordinator Brent Dearmon will have had a lot of time to prepare, instead of jumping in right in the middle of the season.
