A big recruiting weekend for Kansas has kicked off in a big way as Scott Chasen at 247Sports and Benton Smith at KUSports.com are reporting that JaCobee Bryant, a CB out of Alabama, has verbally committed to Kansas, per his high school coach.
Bryant has a plethora of P5 offers, including Nebraska, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Indiana, Purdue, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. Bryant is rated as a three-star by Rivals and in the 247 Composite. (He is a four-star in the Top247, whatever that means.)
Kansas also picked up a recruit along the offensive line, as Garrett Jones out of Michigan also gave Les Miles his verbal on Friday night.
