Since former starting quarterback Carter Stanley has graduated, Kansas football is looking for a new leader to run coordinator Brent Dearmon’s Jayhawk offense. Despite a few quarterbacks on the roster and a new signing in the 2020 recruiting class, the most intriguing prospect is Feleipe Franks.
Franks, a former Florida Gator, was rumored to be interested in coming to Kansas after following Dearmon and head coach Les Miles on Twitter. Franks also has a history with Miles, who recruited him to play football at LSU. Franks committed to Miles, then flipped to Florida.
Even more recently, Franks posted on his Instagram story that he was in Lawrence, presumably meeting with Miles and the Kansas football coaching staff.
