Kansas football’s Kenny Logan Jr. had himself a game last Saturday at home against Iowa State. The sophomore cornerback was directly responsible for 7 of the Jayhawks’ 22 points, scoring on a kick return. Logan also recorded an interception against Cyclones quarterback Brock Purdy.
Logan’s kickoff return for a TD came at a critical point in the game where the Jayhawks really needed a score. Iowa State had just extended their lead to 27-7, then it looked like things could get out of hand in a hurry. Logan caught the kick a good few yards deep in the endzone, started the return toward the middle, and then worked his way toward the KU sideline.
