It’s that time of year again! Well, almost. Kansas basketball still has two weeks until the official start of the basketball season against #4 Duke at Madison Square Garden. Until then, an exhibition against the Fort Hays State Tigers will have to do.
While nobody expects Fort Hays State to even be able to compete with Kansas, let’s take a look at the Division II school anyway. The Tigers are coming off an 18-11 season under head coach Mark Johnson. Fort Hays State received a four seed in the MIAA Tournament but lost in the first round 69-74 to Lincoln.
