It’s December, and we have a long way to go before this season is over. Despite many Kansas basketball fans being furious the Jayhawks dropped their last game to Villanova, it isn’t that serious.
Yes, it would have been ideal to beat the Wildcats, and there’s nothing wrong with being a little upset the Jayhawks couldn’t pull it out. There were certainly some moments where Kansas really gave the game away, and those little lapses must be corrected now that there are no more “easy” games on the Jayhawks’ schedule.
As a matter of fact, Kansas won’t play a team worse than 87th Kansas State (according to Kenpom) for the rest of the season, or at least until March.
