It’s appropriate that the season after KU head coach Bill Self entered the Basketball Hall of Fame he had his best coaching job yet. In its quest to break UCLA’s record setting 13 straight conference titles, KU was faced with adversity that would break lesser teams. Yet, here we are. KU now owns the record for most conference titles in a row.
It was difficult to not lose faith throughout this year. And, when faith was hanging on by just a thread, it seemed our only reason to believe was that Bill Self is still on our sideline.
