Kansas basketball recently finished filling out its 2020 recruiting class, headlined by five-star guard Bryce Thompson. The Jayhawks have an empty 2021 class so far, but they just offered four-star recruit, Tamar Bates.
Bates is a talented guard out of Piper High School in Kansas City, Kansas. He now holds offers from all three Kansas schools, in addition to Missouri, Creighton, Oklahoma State, Northwestern, and others. Bates visited Kansas unofficially back in October of 2019, since then, he’s also visited Creighton.
A six-foot-four 175 pound, guard, Bates is ranked as the no. 95 overall prospect in the country by Rivals.
