When Andrea Hudy left Kansas for Texas, Jayhawk Nation lost one of its most respected and valuable members. Today, Dr. Ramsey Nijem was hired to fill the void in Kansas basketball left by Hudy.
The young strength coach from the Bay Area has a very impressive resume to his name that includes time in the NBA as well as high praise from respected members in the basketball industry.
Before Kansas, Nijem spent five years as a strength and conditioning coach in the NBA for the Sacramento Kings. He received the head strength and conditioning job at Sacramento three years ago making him the youngest head strength coach in the league.
