In the latest AP Poll, Kansas basketball held steady at number three in the country behind number one Gonzaga and number two Duke. The Jayhawks received 1,613 points from the voters, and are only 32 away from the Blue Devils.
The good news for Kansas is that they have a chance to take down a fellow top five program this weekend in Allen Fieldhouse.
The Baylor Bears cracked the top five this week after previously being ranked sixth after winning an impressive Big 12 opener at home against Texas 59-44. This week, they’ll take on a tough Texas Tech team on the road.
