The most recent head coach from the coaching tree of Hall of Famer Bill Self is Aaron Miles. In August, the Santa Cruz, California Warriors named Miles the head man of their G-League team. At the time, the Warriors expressed adulation at convincing Miles to become their head coach. As a matter of fact, they are very fortunate to have the former Jayhawk guard with 10-years of NBA and G-League experience.
On November 4, Miles made his pro coaching debut against the South Bay Lakers. Miles started former Iowa State standout Georges Niang.
