The senior Big 12 preseason player of the year Devonte Graham is set to participate in his fourth Champions Classic. Graham and the Jayhawks looked good in last week’s season opener. The senior guard ran the show in the 36-point win over Tennessee State with 10 points, 12 assists and 3 steals. As a matter of fact, some of his assists surprised even Graham.
The senior from Raleigh, North Carolina’s basketball future is as bright as his smile. However, he must do more Tuesday against Kentucky than in his previous Champions Classic games. In 2014, Graham had 2 points, a turnover and a steal in the Kentucky blowout 70-40 in Indianapolis.
