Josh Jackson pleads guilty to traffic violation, receives six months probation

Former Kansas forward Josh Jackson was convicted Tuesday of a municipal traffic violation and two other traffic charges against him were dropped as part of a plea agreement.

Lawrence Supervising City Prosecutor Elizabeth Hafoka said Jackson pleaded guilty to “duty upon striking unattended property” Tuesday before being sentenced to six month’s probation with a fine of $250 plus $63 in court costs. If Jackson violates probation, he could serve up to 30 days in jail.

Jackson had been cited for a Feb. 2 traffic incident; he received a ticket Feb. 7 for “duty upon striking an unattended vehicle, inattentive driving and improper backing,” according to the Lawrence Municipal Court.
