Brandon Schneider, who in 2010 led Emporia State to the NCAA Division II women's basketball national championship before joining the Division I coaching ranks at Stephen F. Austin, will be introduced Tuesday as the new women's coach at Kansas.
After taking Emporia State to 11 NCAA D-II national tournament appearances in his 12 seasons with the Lady Hornets, Schneider led Stephen F. Austin to Southland Conference titles in 2014 and 2015. In his five seasons at the Texas school, Schneider's teams won 95 games and made three post-season appearances, reaching the championship game of the 2014 Women's Basketball Invitational.
