Kansas and Texas come together for a huge Big 12 Top-20 showdown in Austin.
KU enters the contest at 17-7, ranked #17 in the latest AP Poll. Texas, meanwhile, is 13-6 and ranked #14. KenPom has the Jayhawks at #22 and the Longhorns at #21.
Kansas leads the overall series against Texas by a 35-10 count. However, the Jayhawks are “just” 11-7 against UT in Austin. The most recent meeting between these two programs was an 84-59 blowout Texas win in Lawrence back on January 2.
The Jayhawks are coming off a 67-61 home win over Texas Tech, while the Longhorns recently dropped an 84-82 home affair against West Virginia (that saw Texas blow a 19-point lead).
