Kansas head coach Bill Self has big bonus money on the line as the Jayhawks enter the Final Four.
Self is already among the highest-paid coaches in men's college basketball, according to USA Today. This year he made $4.9 million, USA Today reported, making him the fourth-highest-paid coach.
When the Jayhawks reached the Final Four by beating Duke in overtime, Self earned a $150,000 "incentive payment," according to his contract. That's in addition to the $50,000 bonus from when KU won the Big 12 regular season championship and the $25,000 bonus from when the team won the Big 12 tournament championship.
