No. 2 Kansas leads Texas Tech, 37-29, at halftime in Allen Fieldhouse. Here are five observations from the first half:
u25aa KU coach Bill Self urged his team to push the ball at every opportunity against Texas Tech, which likes to play at a slower tempo. It worked, as each team had 35 first-half possessions. To compare, the Jayhawks had only 55 possessions in their entire game Tuesday against Baylor.
u25aa Svi Mykhailiuk was KU’s first wing off the bench and continues his hot shooting, as he made 4 of 4 from three-point range.
