Bill Self and the Kansas basketball team took their show to South Beach Saturday. The Jayhawks had plenty of flaws but did enough to beat Syracuse 76-60 in the Hoophall Miami Invitational. The KU win was the first meeting between the two teams since an overtime game in 2008.
Devonte Graham had another huge game on offense. His 35 points to tie a career high earned him the game’s MVP. He deserved the honors for so many reasons. No more important than his own 5-zip run to end a Syracuse 11-nothing run midway through the second half.
