The Jayhawks dropped to 0-2 in true road games for the year in ugly fashion this afternoon, losing 77-60 to Iowa State in Ames.
The game was close throughout the first half, though it very much felt like it could turn into a blowout at any time. Iowa State missed their first seven attempts from three, several of which were wide open. Meanwhile, Kansas coughed up 14 turnovers (40% TO rate) in the first period, but managed to hold a small lead much of the way. A late burst by ISU gave them a 36-32 advantage going into the locker room.
