LAWRENCE — The play was set up perfectly.
Out of a timeout, Jamari Traylor screened the middle man in Harvard’s 2-3 zone. Svi Mykhailiuk ran to the corner, spacing out the defender on the right side.
In between them slipped Carlton Bragg, and after raising both hands in the air, he took in a bounce pass from Devonte’ Graham and turned his body toward a wide-open basket.
There was one problem: The ball slipped out of his hands, deflecting above the white square on the backboard. Harvard came away with the turnover, and quickly followed with a layup in transition.
